Too make my niece more doll clothes. Would like to see some newer 18″ doll clothes patterns. And, of course, every year is the same resolution, to organize my yarn better.
My New Year’s resolution is to make as many of the projects I have come up with as possible. I seem to always have more projects designed than I have time to finish. Need to use up some of my stash…my closet overfloweth with yarn!
To finish all my wips.
i resolve to continue exploring yarns as i knit my projects. i have just acquired two skeins of a yak down and silk blend in a soft silver for my next project, a shawl.
I have said for the past several years to dust off the exercise bike instead of using it for a coat hanger, but thats another story. I will clean out and reorganize my craft room.
My resolution is to keep learning and working on my crochet. I am rocking the dishcloths, scarves and hats, and I’d like to try to make myself a sweater!
To put together all my mom’s sample pieces she crocheted (and saved) into a memory afghan.
My resolution is to be a better knitter/crocheting and challenge myself to make more than just afghans.
To complete three bins of ufos (unfinished objects) in crochet– to spend more time with friends and family and to grow closer to God.
To finish my first crocheted Afghan. Started years ago but been stashed away since a move.
To get my yarn organized so I know what I have instead of buying the same color over and over!
To finish the projects that I have in progress . Then to learn how to make Sashay scarves . To really enjoy the art of my craft of Crochet .. 🙂 <3
Be more adventurous with crocheting.
Based on a reminder of need this morning at Knitting Paradise I am going to make at least one burial gown/outfit/pouch every month in 2013. My heart goes out to all those moms and dads who contain a grief that never dies.
My yarn related New Year’s resolution is to crochet, crochet, and crochet some more. My other yarn related New Year’s resolution is to make more lapghans for my local VA hospital than I did this year. Happy New Year to all and may 2013 hold more blessings than sadness!
My first grand baby is due in June – GET to make blankets and clothes. I also have a quick scarf pattern that I’m planning to make a bunch of for the homeless people downtown. (Already started both :•})
My resolution is to crochet more in 2013 and also learn how to knit. I would also love to make something for myself. I crochet for charity, friends and family which I love to do! I’ve never made any thing for me. Hopefully by the end of the year I will achieve these goals! 🙂
My yarn related New Years resolution is to have a completely homemade Christmas next year. =)
To crochet ALL my gifts for 2013!
To use some of my stash before I buy anymore, hahahaha
My resolution is to finish the current crochet projects I have started (Genevieve sweater, DH’s blanket, living room blanket, pair of slippers, and doily) before I start any others.
My resolution is to do more knitting. I love to crochet, and do so on a daily basis, but I would like to generate my knitting skills as well. So, I plan to knit at least 4 baby blankets for Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society this year. 🙂
My New Year’s resolution is to organize my yarn and use it!
To use some of the great yarn I already have in my stash.
My New Years resolution is to get some shelving and arrange all my yarn by brand and color. Would like to put sliding glass doors on the shelving to keep my yarn dust free.
To crochet more and use up my yarn stash so I have an excuse to buy more yarn.
I want to finish some of the many projects I have started. Maybe ’13 will be my year to finish more than I start!!!
To make as many hats as I have yarn for……….
Then sell them and make money for more hats……………..
To actually finish ALL of the projects that I start! And in doing so I will become better at knitting. 🙂
I don’t make resolutions any more.
To make lots of things for the grandkids and great grandkids got 2 new twin great granddaughters coming in Feb so I have lots to look forward too
In the past couple or three years, I’ve learned how to read patterns, instead of just making up my own all the time; I’ve figured out how to hold the yarn with my left hand. (I’ve been crocheting for uhm..well not quite half a century yet..but always held the yarn, wrapped it, etc, all with my right hand.) This year I WILL get it–how you’re supposed to hold the crochet hook. I can do it for a few stitches at a time, then go back to the way I taught myself years & years & years ago!
I want to use up some of the yarn in my stash! I keep buying yarn and don’t crochet fast enough to use it all up!!
My yarn related New Years resolution is to improve my knitting skills, to become more confident in knitting by this time next year.
I’m going to try making a dress for my 36 year old daughter.
My yarn related New Year’s Resolution is to experiment with new stitches and learn to enlarge patterns. Have a great year and thanks for the giveaway.
I am going to get my yarn all in order in my craft room so that I don’t have to look in every box for the yarn I want.
My yarn related New Years Resolution is to make as many projects as I can for gifts. I have a large stash to use up and gifts are my favorite way to use up yarn =)
Finish wips & do more charity knitting/crocheting. I donated some knitted hats & mittens & it felt great!!
My main crochet goal for 2013 is to complete three baby blankets each month for Project Linus. I didn’t quite make it this year, averaging around 2, but I managed to get two other people involved. I would also like to teach more people how to crochet this year. In 2012, I taught two new people and got three more people back into the regular swing of crocheting. Woo hoo!
My resolution is to learn how to design my own pattern’s. I like seeing something such as a purse and try to convert it into crochet.
